Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability modeling to drive financial performance.
• Establish and track TEPCON’s Break-Even Point, ensuring operational sustainability.
• Develop cash flow and capital strategies to support growth.
• Optimize the ESOP financial structure to maximize employee value.
• Hold leadership accountable for financial discipline and project profitability.

Financial Operations & Compliance

• Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, and monthly close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, ESOP regulations, and tax laws.
• Conduct risk assessments for project bidding, contract negotiations, and cost controls.
• Implement strong internal controls for financial accuracy and data integrity.
• Drive CMiC adoption for real-time financial visibility and automation.

HR, Payroll & Performance-Based Compensation

• Oversee payroll administration & compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Work with HR to integrate ESOP benefits and improve payroll systems.
• Design commission & bonus structures for Project Managers based on profitability.

Profitability, Growth & Performance Metrics

• Maintain a minimum 10% net profit margin and track financial KPIs.
• Utilize CMiC for job costing, expense tracking, and project profitability analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations & reduce costs.
• Leverage AI-powered financial analytics for forecasting and risk assessment.

Technology & Financial Systems

• Oversee CMiC ERP implementation to improve reporting & efficiency.
• Integrate AI and automation into financial forecasting and analysis.
• Optimize financial workflows to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in financial leadership, preferably in construction or project-based industries.
• CPA preferred, with ESOP financial strategy experience.
• Expertise in CMiC ERP (or similar construction-focused systems).
• Strong background in financial modeling, job costing, WIP reporting, and risk management.
• Proven ability to implement financial process improvements & drive automation.
