More than 200 professionals from Arizona’s commercial real estate, construction, facilities, and property management industries gathered Thursday afternoon at Bowlero Old Town for “Bowling for Bailey,” a grassroots fundraising event supporting Ryan Bailey as he battles stage 4 colon cancer with liver metastasis.

Organized in just over five weeks, the sold-out event became a powerful demonstration of the Arizona business community coming together to support one of its own during an incredibly difficult time.

The fundraiser was created to help ease the growing financial and emotional burden facing Bailey and his family as they navigate ongoing treatment and medical expenses. Friends, colleagues, clients, vendors, and industry partners responded quickly, filling sponsorship opportunities, auction tables, and bowling lanes within days.

What began as a small grassroots effort rapidly evolved into a large-scale community event driven by relationships, collaboration, and a shared desire to help.

The event was organized by a volunteer committee made up of professionals from across the Valley’s commercial real estate and construction community, including representatives from EHS Restoration, EVO Construction Group, Elevate Commercial Real Estate, Weems Asphalt, Upland Group, Encore Landscape Management, and TEPCON Construction.

Despite representing different companies and sectors of the industry, organizers worked together with a common goal: supporting Ryan Bailey.

“Watching this group come together was incredible,” said Tom Pritscher, President of TEPCON Construction. “People showed up without hesitation. Competitors became teammates, relationships turned into action, and the entire industry rallied behind Ryan in a way that was truly inspiring.”

Throughout the event, attendees participated in fundraising activities, auctions, sponsorship opportunities, and community networking while sharing messages of encouragement and support for Bailey.

Organizers say one of the most meaningful aspects of the event was the overwhelming sense of unity throughout the room.

“People weren’t there for recognition or attention,” Pritscher said. “They were there because they care about Ryan and wanted to help however they could. It was a reminder of the kind of impact that’s possible when a community comes together with purpose.”

The success of “Bowling for Bailey” highlighted not only the strength and generosity of Arizona’s commercial real estate and construction industries, but also the deep personal relationships that exist within the community beyond day-to-day business.

Additional fundraising efforts and community support opportunities remain ongoing.
